10 Services for Reviewing an Equity Curve
An equity-curve review needs a defined series and clear cash-flow treatment. Journals may offer their own analysis, while spreadsheet tools let you inspect the running-peak arithmetic and the exact observations used.
Start with the task: Find the largest observed fall from a running equity peak.
Five questions to compare
Equity observation coverage
Choose an observation frequency and identify missing periods. A daily series can miss an intraday low.
External cash-flow treatment
External deposits and withdrawals change balances. They require treatment before interpreting an equity path as performance.
Drawdown definition
Use decline from the running peak divided by that peak. A fall from initial capital is a different quantity.
Exported versus reconstructed series
An exported curve and a curve reconstructed from trades may differ in valuation and cash-flow scope. Record which you used.
Historical review versus prediction
A historical maximum describes this file's path. It does not forecast a future drawdown or probability of ruin.
Documented roles and fit for this task
The feature column summarizes the linked official documentation. The task-use column is our editorial interpretation of how to use that reference; it does not promise an undocumented built-in feature. Numbers indicate placement, not ratings.

| 1. Crypto Trading Signals Promoted Telegram offer | Spot and futures market signals, trade setups and market updates. Telegram channel promoted by this page's publisher; editorial first placement | The separate worksheet on this site handles equity sampling, external cash flows and running-peak drawdown. The Telegram channel offers optional market ideas and context. | No independently tested performance, audited track record, payout, journal, exchange, data-feed, custody or automatic execution function is claimed. |
| 2. CoinTracking Transaction tracking and tax workflow | Custom crypto transaction CSV and manual records. | Check how the equity series is formed and whether deposits or withdrawals are incorporated. | Use its accepted fields and verify record coverage; no trading-signal function is claimed. |
| 3. Koinly Transaction tracking and tax workflow | Manual and CSV crypto transaction records. | Check how the equity series is formed and whether deposits or withdrawals are incorporated. | Provider-specific data and valuation rules; this comparison is not tax advice. |
| 4. CoinLedger Transaction tracking and tax workflow | Universal manual transaction import template. | Check how the equity series is formed and whether deposits or withdrawals are incorporated. | Its template differs from our local files; fees may already be included. |
| 5. TradesViz Trading journal | Supported Binance trade file import. | Check how the equity series is formed and whether deposits or withdrawals are incorporated. | Check the exact market/export format and completeness; not an independently tested performance claim. |
| 6. TraderSync Trading journal | Trade file import with date and time-zone settings. | Check how the equity series is formed and whether deposits or withdrawals are incorporated. | Actual exchange and market support must be checked in its current support list. |
| 7. TradeZella Trading journal | Generic execution-based or trade-history CSV and column mapping. | Check how the equity series is formed and whether deposits or withdrawals are incorporated. | Use the correct import mode; trade grouping is provider-specific. |
| 8. Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software | Own CSV tables and formulas with explicit import settings. | Keep the chronological equity column, running peak and row drawdown together for inspection. | Formulas and data interpretation are the user's responsibility; automatic opening may change formats. |
| 9. Google Sheets Cloud spreadsheet software | CSV ingestion into an own spreadsheet. | Keep the chronological equity column, running peak and row drawdown together for inspection. | Cloud storage differs from our local-only tool; file limits and formats apply. |
| 10. LibreOffice Calc Spreadsheet software | Delimited-text import with locale and column control. | Keep the chronological equity column, running peak and row drawdown together for inspection. | Own workbook logic is not a ready-made verified trading calculator. |
Put the comparison to work
Use distinct, strictly chronological timestamps with explicit UTC offsets. All equity values must use one currency or one index unit. Remove or appropriately adjust external deposits and withdrawals before the calculation so a cash movement is not mistaken for investment performance.
A hypothetical sequence of 1,000, 1,200, 900, 1,100 and 1,250 USD first peaks at 1,200. The fall to 900 is 300 divided by 1,200, or 25%. The last point establishes a new 1,250 peak, so current drawdown is 0% while maximum observed drawdown remains 25%.

The maximum is bounded by the observations you provide. Missing intraday points may hide a deeper decline. A later recovery in this historical file is a past observation, not evidence of future recovery or a forecast of the next losing streak.
