Compare Prop Firms by Rule Construction and Reset Clock

A useful prop-firm comparison names the product, date and rule construction. The same daily percentage can operate on a different clock, and an overall percentage may describe a moving boundary. This is a narrow comparison of published one-stage rules, not a market-wide ranking or a recommendation for a particular country.

Compare like products before comparing percentages

The HashHedge challenge-type page lists a 3% daily and 6% total figure for its One-stage product. FTMO describes a 3% daily amount and a 10% end-of-day trailing maximum-loss amount for its 1-Step product. Those labels identify different overall constructions; reading only the larger percentage would miss the moving reference.

FTMO states a midnight CE(S)T recalculation. HashHedge publishes market-specific daily update windows in UTC+4. Its separate daily-loss example page uses general 5% wording, so do not transfer that example percentage to the One-stage product. Retain both sources and confirm the actual purchased conditions and displayed account floor.

Use an original moving-boundary example

For a fictional 100,000-unit starting account, a trailing allowance of 10,000 below the highest eligible closing balance gives a floor of 93,000 after that reference reaches 103,000. If the next eligible close is 101,500, a rule that only raises the floor keeps 93,000. Recomputing from the lower close would incorrectly produce 91,500.

This arithmetic illustrates the construction described in the FTMO source; it is not a live account record. A comparison with another product also needs that product’s complete floor definition, fees, resets and applicable conditions. A bigger stated allowance does not by itself establish more room at the time you would trade.

Keep the comparison deliberately bounded

The table records only selected published fields checked on 23 October 2026. It does not compare prices, all trading restrictions, country access, platform choices or actual payout delivery. Product revisions and rules applicable to an older purchase can change the answer, so preserve the precise version for each entry.

For your own worksheet, add a source beside every value and an explicit unknown where the comparison is incomplete. This site’s drawdown resource can help distinguish a running-peak statistic from a contractual boundary. Keep that statistical calculation separate from the provider’s actual rule.

Make the selection from a complete record

A score should not silently award points for missing data. Define the criteria that matter to you, complete their evidence and then decide whether either programme fits. Published rules are provider statements, not independent proof of execution quality or payment performance.
